Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Williamsville, NY is hiring a Teacher Assistant to support teachers and families in a warm, home-like setting.

No evenings or weekends; this full-time role offers pay between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour, a childcare discount for staff, and benefits including health, dental and vision insurance.

You will assist with instruction, ensure safety and supervision of children from 6 weeks to 12 years, and communicate with parents while following NAEYC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
