Job summary

Lighthouse Autism Center is seeking a part-time RBT to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a center-based setting for children aged 18 months to school age. You will collaborate with a team of clinicians to implement customized therapy plans and track progress.

We provide paid training for RBT certification, tuition reimbursement toward advanced education, and opportunities for advancement within 3 to 15 months. A supportive work environment and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• All applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent are welcome; a college degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
• Passion for working with children with autism and families is encouraged.
• Eagerness to be part of a caring and team-oriented culture.
• Commitment to showing up daily and supporting learner progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in a center-based setting.
• Collaborate with clinicians and analysts to implement therapy plans.
• Document progress and track outcomes for each child.

• Help children progress toward educational and social goals.

• Work one-on-one with kids (18 months to school age) to provide ABA therapy in a center-based approach.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• All applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent are welcome- a college degree is preferred but not required
• Lifting/Carrying more than 50 lbs. Able to sustain impact to body (i.e., being hit, etc.) in any area. Running, crouching, squatting, and ability to kneel for sustained periods of time. Bending at the waist to touch knees and/or toes. Full range of motion of hands and arms. Sitting on the floor and chair for long periods of time. Ability to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without support. Communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and written.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
