Job summary

Compass Behavioral Group in Lynchburg, VA seeks a motivated Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents under 21, in home, clinic, or community settings. You’ll collaborate with BCBAs to implement treatment plans and monitor progress.

You’ll coach caregivers, maintain accurate session data, and engage in video-based supervision and ongoing training, with tuition assistance, health insurance, and a 401(k) plan as part of the rewards.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma, valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of licensed driving experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.

Your Role as an ABA Behavior Technician

As a Behavior Technician at Compass, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home, clinic, or community settings to children and adolescents under age 21.

• Engage caregivers through coaching, modeling, and supportive communication.
• Use video-based supervision and a collaborative approach to enhance your clinical skills.
• Maintain accurate session documentation and data collection.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate from $22-$25/hour, based on experience
