Day to Day:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect and record data on an iPad on patient progress and behavior.
• Build rapport and establish a positive, therapeutic relationship with patients and their caregivers.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review and update behavior intervention plans.
• Ensure that all interventions are applied consistently with ethical and professional standards while maintaining confidentiality with all PHI.
• Contribute as a positive team member—supporting the creation and maintenance of an inclusive clinic culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred for entry level BT roles. Psychology degree helpful.
• Experience as an RBT is great but NOT required.
• Available Monday – Friday from 7:45 am – 4:30 pm.
• Experience and a passion for working with children! Prior experience in the following areas has proven to be successful for RBTs: childcare provider, nanny, daycare teacher, teachers assistant, special education teacher, summer camp counselor, swim teacher, coach, mental health technician, pediatric therapist, pediatric nurse, ABA therapist, behavior therapist, degree in psychology.
• Willingness to go above and beyond for our teammates and patients by creating a sense of belonging and connection.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and sit on the floor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to move quickly in response to patient needs.
