Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences and 2 years' experience working with emotionally disturbed children or an Associate's degree in social sciences and 4 years' experience working with emotionally disturbed children or 6 years' experience working with emotionally disturbed children.
  • Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective crisis management/de-escalation skills in a variety of settings
  • Utilize communication skills in Wraparound family team meetings and assist in development of individualized Plan of Care
  • Ensure involvement of family in development of treatment planning
  • Provide and link services to family as outlined in Plan of Care
  • Demonstrate creativity delivering behavioral services aligned with Plan of Care
  • Able to work non-traditional hours on a regular basis
  • Participate in Wraparound trainings and meetings as directed by program director
  • Develop and maintain accurate client records, including progress notes and needs/strengths assessments
  • Other duties as required

  • Develop and maintain accurate client records, including progress notes and participate in development of needs/strengths assessment and Plan of Care
  • Other duties as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATES

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences and 2 years' experience working with emotionally disturbed children or an Associates of Arts degree in social sciences and4 years' experience working with emotionally disturbed children or 6 years' experience working with emotionally disturbed children
  • Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
