MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) in Portland, Maine, seeks an outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our partial hospitalization program (PHP). This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role focuses on higher-acuity pediatric care in a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained, board-eligible, and committed to medical education, research, and delivering high-quality clinical outcomes for rural and urban pediatric populations.
MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides behavioral health partial hospitalization services for people who are too ill to attend traditional outpatient therapy, but do not require hospitalization. Often, partial hospitalization services help patients transition back into the community after a psychiatric hospitalization.
The partial hospitalization program (PHP) bridges the gap between hospital and community programs. It provides an alternative to hospitalization for people who require more intensive treatment than outpatient office visits, but less than 24-hour inpatient care.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week
