Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) Head Start seeks a Child Aide to provide individualized, one-on-one support in the Stewart Early Head Start classroom in Springfield, MO. You will help implement learning activities and support each child’s development.

You will collaborate with a team of teachers, maintain confidentiality, and foster a warm, inclusive learning environment while meeting program requirements and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with young children.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Child Aide. In this role, you will provide individualized, one-on-one support to a child by implementing learning activities and experiences designed to meet their unique developmental needs. Working alongside a collaborative team of teachers and support staff, you will help create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Work Schedule

• Schedule: M-F 8:00-4:00
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one support to a child in the classroom

Minimum Qualifications
