Job summary

JFCS seeks a licensed or license-eligible clinician (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC or PsyD/PhD) to provide high-quality assessment, therapy, and consultation for children, teens, and families. The role collaborates with a robust clinical team and offers growth through CCY’s training institute.

Hybrid schedule with 20 hours per week, pay range $60–$67/hour, and ongoing supervision. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work; Doctoral degree accepted.
• Active, unrestricted California license (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, or Psychologist) or eligible Associate licensure.
• Experience with evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT) with children and families.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnoses in youth; ability to work flexible hours incl. late afternoons/evenings.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to travel within JFCS regions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based therapy and comprehensive assessments for children, teens, and families.
• Collaborate in weekly case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests for eligible PsyD/PhD candidates.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant EHRs with assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Represent the department in agency-wide meetings, trainings, and community outreach.
