Requirements include a Master’s degree in Counseling or Psychology, NY LMHC/LMFT licensure or eligibility, and experience with CBT, DBT, TF-CBT or play therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active NY LMHC/LMFT licensure or eligibility.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families in clinical settings.
• Proficiency in CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, or play therapy.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Compassionate, culturally competent, and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services to children and adolescents using evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and school systems to support clients’ well-being.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant, accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision.
• Create a safe, trusting therapeutic environment that supports youth mental health.
