Job description

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join its team located on the Northside of Pittsburgh. Members of this multi-disciplinary team, enjoy the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, advanced practice providers, and care coordinators dedicated to improving the lives of children, adolescents, and their families. AHN’s Division of Psychology is committed to expanding access to high-quality behavioral health services while fostering a culture of clinical excellence, professional growth, and innovation.

Highlights:

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy for a general community of child & adolescent populations
• Offer group and/or family therapy as desired
• Collaborate with other psychologists and prescribers during biweekly team meetings
• Opportunities for teaching and training, including supervision for predoctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral psychology/neuropsychology fellows
• Ongoing CE trainings, including weekly Psychiatry Grand Rounds

Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Development Psychology, Clinical Psychology or a related Psychology specialty
• Completion of an APA Accredited Pre-Doctoral Clinical Internship,
• Post-doctoral Fellowship in Psychology strongly preferred.
• Psychology license in the state of Pennsylvania, or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure, as documented by out-of-state licensure.
