Job summary

Brown University Health invites a board-certified or eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a combined Emergency Services and Outpatient Crisis Clinic at Providence, RI. The position includes teaching and supervision within a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for Brown Academic Faculty appointment if desired.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible (within 5 years of residency) physician with fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island

Responsibilities

• Treat children and teens presenting in behavioral health crisis in the emergency department and in an outpatient short-term crisis clinic
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including trainees, NPs, PAs, LICSWs, LMHCs, and qualified mental health providers
• Teach and provide supervision
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30
• Weeknight call 8-9 nights per year; weekend coverage 3–4 times per year
