Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Board‑Certified/Board Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Outpatient Clinic at Staten Island University Hospital. The role focuses on comprehensive outpatient care for children, adolescents, and young adults in a collaborative, team-based setting.

The position emphasizes evidence-based evaluations, pharmacotherapy, and psychotherapy (CBT/DBT). Responsibilities include supervising fellows and contributing to academic appointments within the Zucker

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
• Ability to supervise psychiatry fellows and collaborate with other clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Administer pharmacotherapy and evidence-based psychotherapy including CBT and DBT.
• Train and supervise child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
• Deliver comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care in a team-based setting.
