Job summary

Sheppard Pratt seeks a Psychiatrist for our Child and Adolescent Inpatient Services at the Towson Campus. You will join a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, conduct evaluations, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for youth in inpatient or day hospital settings.

The role includes medication management, individual and group therapies, careful documentation, and collaboration with families and referring providers to adapt care as progress occurs.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Active Maryland medical license (or eligibility).
• Board Certification in Psychiatry; Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, admission assessments, and physical exams for inpatients/day hospital.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and individual/group therapies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with families and referring providers.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to adjust care as progress dictates.
