Job summary

CHI Health is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Psychiatric Associates in Council Bluffs, IA, providing outpatient care to children and youth with diverse backgrounds. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with shared call coverage and a flexible path toward a hybrid inpatient/outpatient model.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABPN in General Adult Psychiatry.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Active Iowa medical license.
• DEA in good standing with no restrictions.
• BLS certification.
• Excellence in clinical care and education.
• Team-based, collaborative approach to care.
• Commitment to high quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
• Participate in teaching and supervision of residents and C/A fellows.
• Contribute to the academic environment and resident/fellow programs.
• Utilize EPIC for patient care documentation.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
