Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team. You will perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and coordinate care with families and schools while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes teaching, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth within a physician-led system that supports internal advancement and community impact.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited university.
• Fellowship trained.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be certified in the first three years of eligibility).
• Valid licensure.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management visits.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop individualized care plans, including pharmacologic treatment, psychotherapy, medical evaluations, and school-based interventions.
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records in accordance with clinical and legal standards.
• Participate in after-hours phone coverage on a rotational basis (approximately every 8–10 weeks).
• Work closely within a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, advanced practitioners, and therapy providers.
• Engage in teaching and mentorship opportunities, contributing to trainee education and collaborative care initiatives.
