Job summary

Child Guidance Resource Centers is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our Psychiatry team in Havertown and South Philadelphia. The physician will diagnose, evaluate, and manage treatment plans for children and adolescents, including medication management and telehealth delivery when appropriate.

The role requires Pennsylvania licensure, DEA, and board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with 3–5 years of pediatric psychiatric experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a medical school approved by AMA
• Current PA medical license; DEA registration; other required registrations
• Board Certified or Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
• 3–5 years of experience providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents
• Competent with age-specific issues and able to manage treatment plans
• Excellent communication, integrity, and sound judgement
• Ability to work flexible hours; valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Determine psychiatric diagnoses of clients
• Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Develop and implement treatment recommendations
• Monitor and adjust medications as needed
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and provide clinical leadership
• Document clinical work in an EHR; familiar with e-prescribing
• Deliver services via telehealth when appropriate
