Qualifications

• PMHNP certification required or in process.
• Illinois Full Practice Authority license required.
• CSRs and DEA registration current and active.
• PMHNP program accreditation CCNE/ACEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care for clients under 21 years old.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Order/interpret labs and develop treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention/evaluation and referrals as needed.
• Coordinate with staff for supervision and insurance-related cases.

Education

Certificate for Full Practice Authority independent practice in Illinois

Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing from a PMHNP program CCNE or ACEN accredited

Certification as PMHNP by ANCC or equivalent

Current Illinois APN license with Full Practice Authority

Current CSR (Controlled Substance Registration) Illinois
