Job summary

Children's Minnesota seeks a compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our collaborative behavioral health team. You will provide high-quality inpatient psychiatric care with daily rounding, consultations across medical floors and the ED, and participate in a structured on-call framework.

The role requires an MD or DO, completion of a general psychiatry residency and a child/adolescent psychiatry fellowship, and ABPN certification/eligibility with Minnesota licensure or

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• ACGME-accredited General Psychiatry Residency completed.
• Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship completed.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry by ABPN, with Minnesota license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient care: daily weekday rounding and acute psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents on the inpatient unit.
• Provide timely psychiatric consultations and stabilization for pediatric inpatients, inpatients medical floors and the ED.
• On-call & coverage: participate in a structured on-call framework with a separate compensation stipend; weekend coverage as described.
