Job summary

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, seeks a BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to join the Division of Child Advocacy. The role includes inpatient and outpatient care in a hospital-based center accredited by NCA, teaching, and opportunities for research and clinical service development.

The division consists of eight Child Abuse Pediatricians and five Advanced Practice Providers, with a strong track record in education and patient care.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Child Abuse Pediatrics.
• Experience teaching multi-disciplinary teams.
• Inpatient and outpatient evaluation of abuse/neglect in children.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through inpatient consults and outpatient medical exams.
• Evaluate children with suspected physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.
• Contribute to teaching of residents, medical staff and community partners.
• Administrative and research responsibilities as desired.
