Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Child Abuse Pediatrics.
• Current State of Connecticut MD licensure required and maintained thereafter.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA accredited) required upon hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical evaluations and recommends management for children affected by suspected abuse.
• Provides outpatient consultation at CT Children’s Medical Center and satellite locations.
• Supervises APRNs and medical trainees in the program.
