Job summary

Community College of Philadelphia seeks an accomplished executive to serve as Vice President for Workforce and Economic Development. The role leads workforce strategy, employer engagement, and program portfolios to drive regional economic mobility and student success.

As a member of the President's Cabinet, you will align credit and noncredit programs, expand stackable credentials, and supervise workforce centers, grant management, and partnerships with industry and government partners.

Qualifications

  • Earned master’s degree required.
  • Seven+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in workforce development, higher education, economic development, or related field.
  • Proven ability to develop employer partnerships and workforce pipelines.
  • Experience administering grants, contracts, and complex budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of the College's workforce development strategy.
  • Serve as chief workforce and economic mobility officer.
  • Oversee employer engagement, apprenticeship, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with employers, industry groups, and government agencies.
  • Ensure alignment of programs with labor market demand and student success goals.
