Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Vice President, Wastewater Engineer for the California District. The position can be located in Los Angeles, Sacramento, Irvine, San Diego, or San Francisco, with a flexible Hybrid-Workplace Model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Eng with focus on wastewater or related discipline.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in water resources engineering.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of water/wastewater engineering principles, models, and technologies.
• Advanced proficiency with engineering computations and knowledge of plans, specs, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and strategic leadership for the engineering discipline and function.
• Perform high-level professional engineering for complex wastewater projects in the California District.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert in water/wastewater applications.
• Coordinate, review and approve infrastructure design plans for code compliance.
• Lead professional development and mentorship within the team.
• Build and maintain client relationships and represent the discipline externally.
