Job summary

Genentech seeks a Head of US Patient Safety to lead the strategic direction and operational performance of the USA PV system, in alignment with IPS priorities and business needs.

The role partners with Genentech and senior leaders to ensure inspection readiness, effective safety risk management, and impactful safety communications to healthcare professionals and patients across the US. Extensive PV leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• MD or life science degree required.
• 12+ years in PV/clinical research with 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Executive leadership experience coaching large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Affiliate Patient Safety strategy and governance.
• Oversee local PV system compliance and inspection readiness.
• Drive safety risk management and product launch readiness.
• Lead safety communications with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to the US Patient Safety Leadership Team.
