East Daley Analytics in Greenwood Village, CO, seeks a hands-on CTO to scale its energy market intelligence platform. The role blends business exposure with technical leadership, shaping data strategy, product delivery, and enterprise-grade software.
You will lead engineering, data, and product teams, set the technical roadmap, improve data pipelines, and drive AI-enabled workflows while maintaining customer trust and platform reliability.

East Daley Analytics is building the energy market intelligence platform for professionals who need to understand how North American oil, natural gas, NGLs, infrastructure, producers, and midstream companies connect. Our mission is to drive transparency in energy markets by combining proprietary data, asset-level models, expert research, and workflow-ready software.
Our Energy Data Studio® platform helps customers forecast, compare, and analyze infrastructure and commodity performance across crude oil, natural gas, and NGL markets. It brings together operational and financial data, production forecasts, pipeline utilization, takeaway capacity, contract terms, counterparty risk, regulatory filings, dashboards, and exportable datasets.
We are looking for a CTO to help scale East Daley from a high-value research and data business into a category-defining energy intelligence platform.
This is a hands-on executive technology leadership role for someone who has built and scaled complex data, analytics, AI, and SaaS products-ideally in markets where domain expertise, data quality, and customer trust matter as much as software velocity.
The right leader will inherit differentiated market expertise, proprietary models, a growing Energy Data Studio platform, and a team with deep knowledge of energy fundamentals. Your mandate is to transform that foundation into a scalable, modern, secure technology platform supporting product-led growth, enterprise data delivery, AI-enabled workflows, and faster innovation.
This role is for a technology leader who wants to be close to the business, customers, and product—not someone who wants to run a detached engineering organization.
You will own East Daley's technology strategy, architecture, engineering execution, data platform, software delivery, and technical talent strategy. You will partner with the CEO, product, research, data, commercial, and customer teams to turn East Daley's proprietary intelligence into software, data products, APIs, analytics workflows, and scalable customer experiences.
The core mandate includes:
In the first 6-12 months, success will mean:
We are interested in leaders who have built sophisticated B2B data, analytics, SaaS, or market intelligence platforms and operated at the intersection of engineering, data, product, and commercial strategy.
You may be a fit if you have:
This is a rare opportunity to own technology for a business with real proprietary differentiation. East Daley is not building another generic dashboard product. We are building the system of record for energy market participants who need to understand asset-level fundamentals, infrastructure constraints, cross-commodity relationships, and financial exposure.
East Daley already has the domain expertise, models, customer trust, and proprietary data foundation. The CTO’s job is to turn that foundation into a platform that scales.
East Daley Analytics uses Predictive Index assessments as one input in our hiring process. Candidates are asked to complete the PI Behavioral Assessment and PI Cognitive Assessment as part of the evaluation process.
