As a member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for defining and delivering the company's technology strategy, overseeing the transition from advanced research and engineering development through to manufacturing readiness and commercial deployment.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary technical teams, drive engineering excellence, manage technology risk and ensure the organization is positioned to deliver safe, reliable and scalable solutions.

• Define and execute the long-term technology strategy and product development roadmap
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and scientific teams across a range of technical disciplines
• Drive the progression of advanced technologies from prototype and demonstration stages to commercial deployment
• Translate complex technical challenges into clear development plans, milestones and execution strategies
• Align engineering, manufacturing and supply chain activities to improve scalability, reliability and cost efficiency
• Manage technical risk, capital investment priorities and key technology decisions
• Build, develop and mentor senior technical leaders across the organisation
• Establish and maintain robust engineering, safety and quality standards
• Ensure technical programs meet relevant regulatory and compliance requirementsRepresent the company's technology vision with investors, strategic partners, government stakeholders and industry audiences
• Significant senior leadership experience as a CTO, Chief Engineer, VP Engineering, SVP Technology or similar executive position
• Proven track record of developing and commercializing complex hardware, industrial systems or advanced technology platforms
• Experience taking technologies from R&D and prototype phases into manufacturing and real-world deployment
• Strong technical credibility and the ability to lead highly specialized engineering and scientific teams
• Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing technical organizations
• Deep understanding of systems engineering, technology architecture, reliability and technical risk management
• Experience working with regulators, government organizations or other demanding external stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage boards, investors and non-technical audiences

Candidates are likely to come from advanced energy, aerospace, defense, nuclear, fusion, semiconductor equipment, industrial technology or other highly regulated and engineering-led environments where innovation, safety and operational excellence are critical to success.
