Job summary

Profound is hiring its first Head of Talent to scale a high-growth marketing technology platform in NYC. You’ll own the end-to-end hiring engine, from sourcing to offers, and design scalable data-driven recruiting systems that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health.

You’ll partner with founders and leaders to translate growth plans into interview loops and role scorecards, codifying Profound's hiring bar for future scale.

Qualifications

• Built and scaled a talent function at a high-growth startup, ideally through a headcount-doubling stretch.
• Systematic and data-driven; views hiring as an engineering problem with pipelines, funnels, and forecasting.
• Energetic about high-performance, merit-driven cultures.
• Able to operate with high agency and ambiguity while driving execution.
• Clear communicator with strong opinions and a collaborative approach.
• Hands-on with modern recruiting/HR stack; comfortable being tactical as well as strategic.

Responsibilities

• Own the talent function end to end: build and run the hiring engine to double headcount over the next year without lowering the bar.
• Design and implement scalable, data-driven recruiting systems and dashboards for real-time visibility of pipeline health.
• Partner with founders and leaders to translate headcount plans into hiring plans, role scorecards, and interview loops.
• Codify the hiring bar with structured scorecards, calibrated panels, and debrief rituals.
• Own employer branding and top-of-funnel Candidate experience from job descriptions to careers site and referrals.
• Build recruiting infrastructure for global expansion with optimized ATS, sourcing channels, and compliant processes.
