IESE Solutions Inc. seeks a Chief Systems of Systems Engineer to lead SE&I for the Space Warfighting SoS. You will architect, integrate, test, and deploy end-to-end capabilities, working with Space Force leadership to drive requirements, interfaces, and mission threads.

You will guide cross‑functional teams, perform architectural analysis, and manage governance boards while ensuring urgent mitigations are implemented upfront in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years in defense systems engineering and development, incl. Joint space ops, C5ISR, battle management systems.
• 5+ years in a systems engineering leadership role for large-scale space SoS programs.
• Experience with the DoD acquisition lifecycle and milestones.
• Top Secret clearance required.

IESE Solutions is seeking a Chief Systems of Systems Engineer who can combine technical leadership skills with big picture thinking to help deliver U.S. Space Force capabilities to the warfighter. In this role you will lead and direct the technical effort of an SE&I team to help the Space Force architect, engineer, integrate, test, and field the Space Warfighting System of Systems (SoS). You will work side-by-side with senior Space Force officers and executives to lead the development and definition of SoS engineering and integration plans and processes, perform architectural analysis, define and manage requirements, control interfaces, and design, integrate, and test end-to-end capabilities, mission threads, and kill chains.

As a technical leader, you will work with SE&I team members and the U.S. Space Force to develop, rapidly deploy, and integrate the next generation of resilient space, ground, and user capabilities across the space enterprise to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up-front and early to develop this system with advanced technology solutions. You will perform systems engineering leadership and program management in support of enterprise reviews and governance boards, as well as analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate executive leaders and stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. Required Qualifications:

• 18+ years of experience in defense systems engineering and development, including with Joint space operations, C5ISR, and battle management systems
• 5+ years of experience serving in a systems engineering leadership role for a large-scale space system of systems programs
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience working within the DoD acquisition system
• Knowledge of Department of War acquisition systems, lifecycle planning, program management, and key program milestones
• Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
• Ability to be comfortable with daily interactions at the executive leadership level
• Ability to drive organizational change with limited authority
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within the DoD acquisition system
• Experience practicing MBSE
• Experience in Agile planning and systems development
• Knowledge of Space Force systems and warfighting missions
• Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master's degree in a STEM or Space field
