Job summary

PEC is seeking an executive to run the Structural Steel Division, overseeing strategy, sales, estimating, PM oversight, shop coordination, QA/QC, safety, and people development while owning the P&L. You will drive backlog, forecasts, labor productivity, budgets, margins, and customer relationships to grow profitable revenue.

You will recruit, mentor, and retain top performers, build succession plans, and partner with HR on coaching and performance decisions, ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of structural steel or industrial construction teams.
• Experience setting division goals, KPIs, and accountability across PMs, estimators, superintendents, and QA/QC staff.
• Strong track record in managing multi‑million‑dollar portfolios and P&L.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Structural Steel Division strategy for growth and profitability.
• Lead PMs, estimators, superintendents, and QA/QC to meet targets and improve performance.
• Oversee backlog, forecasts, labor productivity, budgets, margins, and customer relationships.
• Coach and develop talent, build succession plans, and partner with HR on coaching and performance actions.
• Own the P&L, monitor monthly financials, and drive safe, on‑time project delivery.
