Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking the Vice President, Strategic Sourcing to lead the enterprise procurement function from Atlanta. You will set category strategies, optimize sourcing, and drive supplier performance across logistics and indirect/direct spend to deliver cost, service, and risk outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
10–15 years of progressive procurement and sourcing experience, including leadership roles with enterprise-scale spend responsibility.
Demonstrated expertise in category management and SRM with benefits tracking.
Strong logistics procurement experience including contracting and performance management.
Proven negotiation capability with complex agreements (MSAs, SOWs, rate cards, SLAs).
Experience building and leading teams; ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define and execute enterprise procurement strategy aligned to business goals and supply chain resilience.
Lead category management across direct and indirect spend; develop roadmaps and should-cost analyses.
Own strategic sourcing and contracting in partnership with Legal and stakeholders.
Oversee logistics procurement for freight, warehousing/3PL, and related services; drive efficiency.
Use market indices to assess price competitiveness and support negotiations.
Establish SRM governance with scorecards and continuous improvement plans.
Implement procurement policies, controls, and ethical sourcing; ensure compliance.
Lead a high-performing team; define structure, roles, and development.
Partner with Finance on planning, savings validation, and TCO reporting.
