Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with board certification in internal medicine or related field.
• Proven track record of NIH or comparable funding and research productivity.
• Experience mentoring junior faculty, fellows, residents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Represents the department's research interests to leadership and collaborates on strategy.
• Oversees research budgets, IRB processes, biosafety, and compliance across the division.
• Identifies funding opportunities and guides extramural grant submissions.
• Mentors junior faculty and oversees recruitment and career development.
