Job summary

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with an M.D. or D.O. degree and NY license eligibility or holding.
• Significant leadership experience in primary care within a large integrated system.
• Proven track record in clinical transformation, program development and quality improvement.
• Ability to lead across a broad geography, diverse practices and stakeholders.
• High emotional intelligence with strong communication, collaboration and conflict-management skills.
• Commitment to maintaining an active clinical practice of at least 20% of role effort.
• Advanced degree in business, health administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a systemwide primary care strategy across regions and settings.
• Design and scale evidence-based, team-based care models to expand access and continuity.
• Establish clinical standards, quality and safety measures with accountability for outcomes.
• Drive clinical, operational and financial performance with budget stewardship.
• Set recruitment, retention, development and alignment for physicians and APPs.
• Advance engagement strategies with payers and consumers amid a changing environment.
• Champion use of technology, data and EHR to improve care and reduce clinician friction.
• Build partnerships across specialties, hospitals, nursing, operations and community stakeholders.
