Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center seeks a Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery to lead the Division within the Department of Neurological Surgery. This physician leader will oversee clinical care, education, research, and administrative activities across Montefiore Health System and CHAM, aligning with the Department Chair and hospital leadership.

The ideal candidate has an MD with a residency in neurological surgery and a pediatric fellowship, board eligibility/certification, and NY licensure ability.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have MD and residency in neurological surgery.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery required or preferred.
• ABNS board eligibility or certification; NY license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery in clinical, teaching, research and admin activities.
• Collaborate with CHAM leadership and Montefiore departments to advance division and patient care.
• Mentor junior faculty and contribute to strategic planning and education.
