Job summary

Ballinger Memorial Hospital District is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead daily operational management of Ballinger Memorial Hospital, a designated CAH. The role provides strategic leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports high-quality, accessible, fiscally responsible healthcare for the community.

The COO will collaborate closely with the CEO and executive Team, oversee CAH regulatory adherence, and optimize rural health delivery.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in healthcare admin, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive hospital leadership experience.
• 5+ years in rural/CAH setting; strong CAH exposure.
• FACHE or similar certification preferred.
