Position Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site/Hybrid)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the day-to-day operational functions of WENRICH PD Construction, LLC and work closely with the CEO to implement strategic initiatives that drive growth and improve operational efficiency. This role will be crucial in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contributing to the stabilization and growth of the company. The COO will ensure alignment with company objectives, manage resource allocation, streamline operations, and ensure the successful execution of projects within timelines and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute operational strategies in alignment with the company’s mission and vision.

Assist in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, efficient operations across the organization.

Oversee all construction operations, including project execution, resource management, and crew coordination.

Collaborate with the CEO on stabilizing the company and driving growth initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability.

Participatein the creation and execution of growth strategies aimed at expandingservices and improving profitability.

Lead and mentor department heads, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all teams (field crews, project management, estimating, etc.).

Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to timelines and client expectations.

Implement efficient operational processes to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.

Assessrisks related to projects, finances, and operations, providing strategicsolutions to mitigate them.

Ensure that operational activities remain in compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a COO, Director of Operations, or similar leadership role within the construction industry.

In-depthknowledge of construction management, business development, and resourceallocation.

Strongleadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience in managing teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting professional growth.

Abilityto strategize, make data-driven decisions, and implement operationalimprovements.

Experience in developing SOPs and working in the early stages of a company’s growth is highly desired.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a relatedfield (advanced degree preferred).

Familiarity with labor unions and regulatory compliance in the construction industryis a plus.

Salary

$75,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience, with potential for performance-based incentives.
