Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and Board Certification in Urology.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience building teams, developing programs, and leading multidisciplinary initiatives.
• Experience in Graduate Medical Education.
• Fellowship training in a urologic subspecialty.

Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine invite an accomplished academic urologist to lead a thriving and expanding Section of Urology as our next Chief of Urology. This is a unique opportunity to guide a highly respected clinical and academic program while helping design and launch a future Urologic Surgery Residency Program.

As Chief, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of urologic care, education, and research across a growing health system while leading a collaborative team of six urologists and three advanced care practitioners. What We’re Looking For
