Job summary

Ambience Healthcare seeks a Chief of Staff to lead the Office of the President and act as the operating partner to the President and Co-Founder. The role is high-trust, high-impact, and involves close collaboration with recruiting to build a small, elite team.

You’ll work roughly 20 hours per week alongside the President, becoming his proxy in key rooms and guiding critical strategic initiatives. This is a rare opportunity at a high-growth health AI company based in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of operating leadership experience, including at least some high-growth or startup exposure.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high performers.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to build and challenge models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Office of the President as operating partner and quarterback the OOTP team.
• Hire, onboard and develop a high-caliber operator team, serving as a hands-on leader.
• Shape strategic partnerships and coordinate across stakeholders, including board and founders.
• Gather market insights, protect the President’s time, and surface issues early for resolution.
• Draft and sharpen board materials, memos and key decision documents to drive company progress.
• Help scale AI-native operating systems and knowledge management across the company.
• Navigate ambiguity and drive cross-functional initiatives from framing to outcome.
