Job summary

Beacon Software seeks a high-slope, high-agency individual to join the CTO’s office as a technical Chief of Staff. You will embed with portcos, drive critical launches, migrations, and tech diligence post-LOI, and act as a bridge between engineering, deal, and ops teams.

Ideal candidates bring founder experience (YC or equivalent), hands-on full-stack shipping capability, and outstanding written and verbal communication. This elite role is not admin.

Qualifications

• Former founder experience (3–4 years out of school, YC or equivalent background preferred).
• Experience as Chief of Staff at the Office of the CTO is highly desired.
• Hands-on, versatile engineer capable of shipping full-stack products end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the CTO and embed with portcos during critical inflection points.
• Lead technical diligence post-LOI, audit architectures, review codebases, and summarize tech debt for IC and deal previews.
