HelloFresh Canada is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. The role requires leading cross‑functional initiatives and coordinating planning, budgeting, and organizational design to enable scale in a fast‑growth environment.

The successful candidate will drive decision making, oversee governance for major projects, and partner with leaders across Canada and North America to enhance efficiency and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or equivalent.
• 7+ years experience in fast-growth business or consultancy in senior role up to director level.
• Analytical thinker with experience using data architectures, workflow mapping and process improvement frameworks.
• Ability to consult, influence, and partner with senior leaders to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner to the CEO of HelloFresh Canada and be a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Identify and prioritize what needs to be built to scale the Canadian organization and drive decisions, programs, and initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Canada and with the North American platform to improve information flows and organizational design.
• Lead quarterly and annual strategic planning, manage the OKR process, and support budgeting process.
• Oversee corporate infrastructure, office footprint strategy, and capital project governance.
• Act as Chair for the Canadian Broader Leadership Team and drive leadership agenda.
• Design and implement organizational structure improvements and close knowledge gaps.
• Improve processes to boost efficiency and productivity across operations.
• Build relationships with employees and work with executives on special projects to define operational strategies.
• Promote the HelloFresh DNA and values in daily work.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for

• Reporting directly into our CEO of HelloFresh Canada, you will be a key strategic partner and trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team within the Canadian business
• Under the guidance of the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, identify and prioritise what needs to be built to set our Canadian organisation up for long-term success. Drive decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
• Work across the organization both in the Canadian market and globally (specifically aligning with the North American platform) to clarify strategic information cascades, optimize cross‑functional collaboration, and ensure our organisational design supports scale
• Organise and execute quarterly and annual strategic and business planning for the Canadian organisation, including leading the Canadian OKR process and supporting the CEO throughout the bi‑annual budgeting process
• Oversee critical corporate infrastructure, office footprint strategy, and real estate procurement; establish governance and cross‑functional accountability for major capital and construction projects
• Act as Chair for the Canadian Broader Leadership Team (BLT), organising and leading regular meetings and driving the Canadian leadership agenda
• Review, design, and execute improvements to organisational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
• Improve existing processes and optimise organisational procedures for efficiency and productivity
• Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define new operational strategies by working with CEO and other executives on special projects
• Be a champion of the HelloFresh DNA, living our values in all that you do

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or a highly analytical equivalent field
• 7+ years experience working within and scaling a fast‑growth business or consultancy in a progressively senior role, up to the management / director level
• An exceptional analyst and systems thinker: proficient in leveraging data architectures, workflow mapping, and process improvement frameworks to build compelling, data‑driven answers
• You are a highly adaptable, empathetic individual who enjoys working in a fast‑moving, uncertain environment
• You lead by example in your organisation, where you are admired and respected
• You have a demonstrated ability to consult, influence, and partner with senior leaders in developing and executing strategies to drive business performance for a range of business units
