Qualitate, an AI-native company, is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner with our CEO and founder across product, sales, and operations. You’ll drive top priorities, participate in board decks, and engage with customers and partners, sometimes building models or fixing processes personally.

You’ll join the founding team and gain exposure to running a fast-growing business. We value judgment, execution, and a perfectionist’s attention to detail.

About Qualitate

Qualitate is the AI-native primary intelligence platform for enterprises, investment firms, and asset managers. We automate primary research end to end, from study design and expert recruitment to AI-moderated interviews and synthesis. Weeks of manual work become hours.

Expert research is slow, expensive, and manual. Investment and strategy teams burn hundreds of hours wrangling intermediaries and scheduling calls, only to get insights that go stale in weeks.

Our AI Moderator interviews thousands of experts every month, capturing purchasing plans, competitive displacement, and real-time ROI signals. We turn those interviews into quantified time-series data on 10,000+ public and private companies, queryable in plain English. Customers include some of the world’s largest enterprises, hedge funds, PE firms, credit investors, and VCs.

The Role

Join Qualitate as Chief of Staff. You’ll support our leadership team - primarily our CEO and founder, Sagar Kadakia - across all cross-functional workstreams. From product to sales to operations, you’ll have a hands-on role across the organization. Some weeks you’ll be building a model or a board deck. Others you’ll be on calls with corporate and investor customers, testing a new research product, or fixing a broken process yourself. We want someone who would rather ship something than write a memo about it.

In return, you’ll see from the inside how an AI-native company is built, at a pace few companies match. You’ll work directly with the CEO and be a part of the founding team, and you’ll leave ready to run a business of your own. Above all, we’re looking for judgment and execution. You’ve worked somewhere that moves fast, you have a perfectionist’s attention to detail, and you know how to work against a tight deadline.

What You’ll Do

• Run the CEO’s top priorities. Take a project from a rough idea to a finished result, scoping it in days, not weeks.

• Support cross-functional projects. Work with Sales and Product on new go-to-market plays, help win strategic accounts at investment firms and enterprises, and build partnerships.

• Explore expansion opportunities. Size new markets for Qualitate’s data, test new offerings with customers, and build the case for where we go next.

• Run the operating cadence. Assist with quarterly/annual planning, leadership meetings, and make sure every decision turns into an owner, a deadline, and a result.

• Keep the team moving. Decide what matters most, clear blockers across teams, and keep communication clear and fast.

Who This Role Is For

• 2-6 years in a high-performance environment. Ideally at a tech startup, management consultant, investment bank, or investment firm.

• Attention to detail. You can make sense out of messy data, you don’t make typos, and you can be trusted with executive-level communications.

• A crisp communicator. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A track record of excellence. You’ve stood out wherever you’ve been, in school, at work, or elsewhere.

• AI-native. You use AI daily to research, analyze, and automate, and you look for ways to make the whole team faster with it. It’s core to how we work.

• High ownership, low ego. You want to help build Qualitate, not watch it being built. You do the work that needs doing, whatever it is.

What Sets You Apart

• Experience in a Chief of Staff, BizOps, or BD role at an early-stage startup.

• A background in expert networks, market research, or data products.

• Base salary: $140-180K, based on experience.
