Responsibilities

  • Oversee a full-service police department with a $29.5 million budget and 100 staff.
  • Strengthen organizational culture and accountability, aligning staffing and resources with service demands.
  • Advance contemporary community policing and workforce development.
  • Collaborate with Mayor, City Council, executive leadership, labor representatives, community stakeholders, and regional partners.
  • Provide calm, decisive leadership during critical incidents and organizational change.
