WesBanco seeks a Director of Physical Security Governance & Protective Intelligence to lead the bank's enterprise security governance program in Wheeling, WV. The role defines strategy, standards, risk methodology, and executive reporting for protecting employees, customers, facilities, and assets.

The candidate will act as senior advisor on risk, protective intelligence, and incident response, while day-to-day operations are managed by dedicated teams or partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, intelligence studies, security management, homeland security, emergency management, public administration, military science, or a related field is required.
• In the absence of a bachelor's degree, substantial relevant law enforcement, intelligence, or military leadership experience is required and may substitute for the degree.
• Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience across law enforcement, intelligence, or security disciplines is required.
• Experience conducting threat assessments, risk assessments, or protective planning is required.
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience in governance, programs, or cross-functional risk initiatives is required.
• Experience briefing senior executives and translating complex risk information into business recommendations is required.
• Experience with law enforcement, intelligence, or homeland security partners is required.
• Banking or regulated environments preferred.
• Experience overseeing physical security programs delivered by operational teams or third-party providers is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develops and executes the enterprise physical security strategy and governance framework.
• Maintains physical security policies, standards, and risk assessment criteria with clear roles and escalation paths.
• Provides oversight of security operations without day-to-day command.
• Leads enterprise risk assessments, maintains risk registers, and reports to executives.
• Oversees protective intelligence, threat management, and workplace violence prevention governance.
• Gives risk-based threat briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Interfaces with law enforcement, intelligence, and information-sharing partners.
• Coordinates significant security incidents with cross-functional teams and audits.
• Advances technology governance for access control, surveillance, and alarms.
