Qualifications

• MD (or MD/PhD) with ABIM board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Division’s growth in clinical care, research, education, and training.
• Oversee operational and fiscal management of the Division with emphasis on excellence, efficiency, and accountability.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that empowers faculty, trainees, and staff.
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered clinical services across endocrinology and metabolism.
• Promote innovative care models, quality initiatives, and value-based clinical practices.
• Grow and sustain destination programs in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism, and nutrition care.
• Expand clinical care models through strategic recruitment of distinguished faculty.
• Expand research by supporting basic, translational, clinical, and population health studies.
• Mentor and recruit investigators; develop inter-disciplinary collaborations.
• Lead medical student, resident, fellow, and postdoctoral education in endocrinology and metabolism.
• Champion inclusive excellence in recruiting and mentoring trainees.
