Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior Quantitative Model Development Officer II to lead the Objective Forecasting function within the Quantitative Office. The role oversees planning, estimation, evaluation and deployment of models used in CCAR, ACL/CECL, market valuation and earnings at risk, with a focus on automation and consistency of outputs.

The Quantitative Office drives enterprise-wide modeling standards, governance, and innovation to support risk management and financial performance across Truist's

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in quantitative models development/validation or equivalent finance industry experience.
  • Master's degree or higher preferred; 3-5+ years supervising quantitative teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage model development/estimation across the life cycle including planning, data acquisition, estimation, evaluation and deployment.
  • Lead a team of quantitative model developers to create risk models using advanced methods.
  • Provide leadership to other managers across products and modeling disciplines.
