Job summary

PAM Health in Covington, LA is seeking an experienced nursing leader to Direct all nursing service activities for the facility and ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires an active RN license, a Master’s degree, at least five years of clinical nursing experience with three years in nursing management, BLS/ACLS, and relevant certifications; friendly benefits package provided.

• Active RN license in the state.
• Master’s Degree or active progression toward a Master’s Degree required.
• Minimum five years of clinical nursing experience; three years in nursing management preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in a specified field preferred (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN).

Responsibilities

• Directs all nursing service activities for the facility assigned by making recommendations for staff/patient ratios.
• Maintain a system to determine and provide adequate staff for provision of appropriate nursing care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedure and accreditation standards.
