Job summary

Agape Behavioral Center is seeking a Full-Time Vice President of Nursing to lead nursing across South Florida facilities. The role includes supervision of the Director of Nursing, APRN/PA team, and ensuring regulatory and quality standards across all sites.

Responsibilities span policy development, KPI tracking, budgeting, and executive collaboration with Medical and Operations leadership to ensure safe, effective patient care in detox, behavioral health, and substance use treatment programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in chemical dependency/psychiatric setting.
• Florida RN license - current.
• Minimum of 2 years progressive Nursing leadership experience within behavioral healthcare.
• 1 year supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health and substance use treatment.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing across all facilities and supervise Nursing Director and staff.
• Oversee APRN/PA team and administrative duties.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Develop and maintain nursing policies and clinical protocols.
• Monitor KPIs and department budgeting.
• Site visits to facilities for operations support.
• Collaborate with Medical Director on clinical matters.
• Lead nurse recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
