City of Huntington Beach seeks a seasoned litigator and legal strategist to become Chief Litigation Counsel, directing the City’s trial and civil litigation program. You will oversee in-house matters, manage outside counsel for specialized areas, and develop strong courtroom advocacy for a broad municipal docket.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of civil litigation and trial experience, with dual state and federal court admissions, and a JD from an ABA-accredited school.

Qualificações

• Five+ years of civil litigation and trial work in California.
• Lead counsel in at least five civil jury trials.
• Admitted to practice in state and federal courts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the City’s trial and litigation efforts in all civil lawsuits.
• Manage a diverse caseload and advocate effectively in court.
• Represent the City in a wide range of matters, primarily in-house with external firm support as needed.
