AdventHealth/UChicago Medicine Joint Venture GlenOaks in Illinois is seeking an accomplished Chief Medical Officer to lead executive clinical oversight for a 145-bed hospital.

The CMO will transform patient, provider, and community experience, align leaders, and drive performance improvement across clinical and non-clinical departments, including risk management, quality, and medical staff governance. This role reports to the executive cabinet and oversees joint ventures and service lines.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with board certification required.
• Advanced degree in health service, public health, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Five to ten years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-wide strategies for ambulatory and clinical services to improve patient experience.
• Provide executive oversight for clinical service lines and joint ventures.
• Collaborate with executive cabinet to align governance and performance improvement efforts.
• Oversee risk management, quality, and medical staff credentialing and FPPE/OPPE processes.
• Foster a culture of safety and strategic external engagement with community partners.
