Job summary

Park DuValle Community Health Centers in Louisville, KY seeks a Chief Medical Officer to provide clinical leadership across the organization. The CMO partners with executive leadership to advance patient-centered care, improve clinical outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role oversees medical services, providers, and quality initiatives, directs clinical operations, develops strategic plans, and ensures high standards of care while mentoring physicians, APRNs, and PAs.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with board-certified primary care credentials.
• Master’s in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
• Board-certified Family Medicine practitioner with active KY license.
• BLS certification and ongoing professional development.
• Demonstrated senior management experience in health programs.
• Strong HIPAA and clinical quality knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership and oversight of medical services across the organization.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to advance patient-centered care and outcomes.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, provider performance, and quality improvement.
• Directs medical operations and strategic planning with the Director of Clinical Operations.
• Represents PDCHC with external agencies and accrediting bodies.
• Mentors physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants; leads performance reviews.
