Reporting to the President/CEO, the CMO serves as the organization’s senior clinical leader and a key member of the executive leadership team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical leadership, department directors, and administrative leadership to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and service.
The CMO will serve as a primary liaison between administration and the medical staff and will provide leadership in clinical operations, provider performance, provider recruitment, quality improvement, regulatory compliance including compliance with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration’s Health Center Program, credentialing and privileging, risk management, patient safety, and clinical program development.

The ideal candidate will be a visible, accessible, articulate and engaged physician leader who is comfortable balancing executive responsibilities with clinical practice and who understands the unique opportunities and challenges of delivering care in a Federally Qualified Health Center environment.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished physician leader with a strong clinical background, demonstrated administrative leadership experience, and a genuine commitment to community health. We are seeking a leader who combines clinical excellence with strong executive leadership and a commitment to community health.
