Qualifications

• MD/MD-PhD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• California medical license by time of hire.
• Board certified or board eligible in Clinical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
• Experience fostering a culture of respect, access, and belonging within academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Division of Medical Genetics' clinical programs, faculty, educational activities, and scholarly initiatives.
• Partner with departmental and health system leadership to grow genetics and genomic medicine across UCSF.
• Support high-quality, team-based care for patients with genetic and metabolic conditions while advancing education and research.
